Instructions

Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, buffalo sauce, mozzarella cheese, and cream cheese. Mix until well combined.
  • Set up a breading station with three shallow dishes: one with flour, another with beaten eggs, and the last with breadcrumbs mixed with garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.
  • Shape spoonfuls of the chicken mixture into sticks. Coat each stick in flour, then dip it in beaten egg, and finally, roll it in the breadcrumb mixture.

Cooking

  • Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) and lightly spray the basket with cooking spray.
  • Arrange the mozzarella sticks in a single layer in the air fryer basket and spray the tops with cooking spray.
  • Air fry for about 8-10 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
  • Once done, remove the sticks and let them cool slightly. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve warm.

Notes

Consider adjusting the spice by mixing buffalo sauce with ranch dressing for a milder flavor. Store leftovers in an airtight container for 2-3 days, reheating in the air fryer for the best results.
