Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Mix until well combined.
  • Press the mixture into the bottom of a springform pan to create a sturdy crust.
  • In a large mixing bowl, beat softened cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
  • Add in vanilla extract and mix until incorporated.
  • Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  • Stir in sour cream until fully combined.
  • Pour the cheesecake batter into your prepared crust.

Blueberry Swirl

  • Heat blueberry jam and sugar in a small saucepan until melted.
  • Drop spoonfuls of the blueberry mixture over the cheesecake batter and swirl gently with a toothpick.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 50-60 minutes, until the center is set but slightly jiggly.
  • Turn off the oven and leave the cheesecake inside for an additional hour to cool.
  • Refrigerate for at least four hours, or preferably overnight, before serving.

Notes

For an extra layer of flavor, consider adding a pinch of lemon zest to the cream cheese batter. Allowing the cheesecake to chill overnight will enhance its flavors. Use room temperature cream cheese for a smoother texture.
