Instructions

Preparation

  • Boil water in a large pot and cook the broccoli and cauliflower for 3 minutes, then drain well.

Sautéing

  • In a skillet, heat vegetable oil and sauté onions for 2 minutes until translucent.
  • Add minced garlic and sliced sausage, cooking until the sausage is browned.

Combining

  • In the greased baking dish, combine the par-cooked broccoli, cauliflower, and sautéed sausage mixture.
  • In a separate bowl, mix cream cheese, mayonnaise (or yogurt), 1 cup shredded cheese, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper until smooth.
