Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • Prepare the vanilla cake batter according to the package instructions, stirring in the brown sugar and cinnamon.
  • Pour the batter into the greased baking dish and bake until golden brown, as directed on the cake mix box.
  • While the cake bakes, combine the sweetened condensed milk, melted butter, vanilla extract, and cinnamon in a bowl.
  • Once the cake is done, let it cool for 5 minutes.
  • Use a wooden spoon to poke holes across the surface of the cake.
  • Pour the prepared condensed milk mixture over the cake and let it soak for at least 20 minutes.

Topping

  • In a mixing bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  • Drizzle the cream cheese frosting generously over the top of the cake.
