Instructions

Preparation

  • In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, chopped onion, dill pickle relish, mayonnaise, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and garlic powder. Season with salt and pepper, mixing until just combined.
  • Divide the mixture into four portions and shape them into patties, slightly larger than the buns.

Cooking

  • Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Cook the patties for 4–5 minutes per side, adding cheese in the last minute to melt.
  • Toast the buns on the grill or in a toaster until golden brown.

Assembly

  • Assemble the burgers by placing a patty on the bottom half of each bun, topping with crisp lettuce, fresh tomato slices, and extra pickles.

Notes
