Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat a large skillet over medium heat and add vegetable oil until hot.
  • In a bowl, mix all-purpose flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  • In another bowl, whisk the eggs until well combined.
  • In a third bowl, mix shredded coconut and breadcrumbs.

Coating the Chicken

  • Dredge each chicken tender in the flour mixture, then dip in the egg, and finally coat with the coconut-breadcrumb mixture.

Cooking

  • Carefully place the coated tenders in hot oil and fry for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  • Remove cooked tenders and place them on paper towels to drain excess oil.

Serving

  • Plate the crispy chicken tenders and serve with your favorite dipping sauces.

Notes

For added crunch, use panko breadcrumbs. Ensure the oil temperature is correct to avoid soggy tenders. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days, or freeze uncooked tenders for later use.
