Instructions

Preparation of the crust

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and 1/4 cup powdered sugar. Mix until thoroughly blended.
  • Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a greased 9x9-inch square pan.
  • Place it in the refrigerator to chill for about 10-15 minutes.

Preparation of the filling

  • In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the semi-sweet chocolate chips and heavy cream. Heat in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring each time until the mixture is smooth and glossy.
  • Stir in the peanut butter and vanilla extract until fully combined.

Assembling the dessert

  • Remove the crust from the refrigerator and pour the chocolate-peanut butter filling over the chilled crust, spreading it evenly.
  • Chill the pan in the fridge for about one hour or until the filling is firm to the touch.
  • Sprinkle the chopped peanuts over the top and drizzle melted chocolate on for garnish.
  • Slice the dessert into squares and serve chilled or at room temperature.
