Return the cocoa mixture to the saucepan and stir until fully combined.
Remove from heat and add vanilla extract and non-alcoholic Irish cream, mixing well.
Allow this mixture to cool to room temperature before refrigerating for at least two hours or overnight.
Churning
Pour the chilled mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions for about 20-25 minutes.
Transfer churned ice cream into an airtight container and freeze for a minimum of four hours.
Serving
Scoop out the Homemade Baileys Ice Cream and serve it in a bowl, garnishing with cocoa powder or chocolate shavings if desired.
Notes
For a lighter version, consider using low-fat milk and sugar substitutes. Ensure your ice cream maker is properly chilled for the best texture.
