  • 4 ounces cream cheese For creaminess
  • 2 cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese Rich flavor, melts beautifully

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • In a large skillet over medium-high heat, sauté the ground beef, sliced onion, and bell pepper until the beef is browned and the vegetables are tender.
  • Add Worcestershire sauce and cream cheese to the skillet; stir until the cream cheese is melted and combined.
  • On a parchment-lined baking sheet, form 8 circles of shredded Monterey Jack cheese.

Baking

  • Bake the cheese circles in the oven for about 8-10 minutes, until bubbly and slightly golden.
  • Let the cheese circles cool for a few minutes, then add a spoonful of the filling to the center of each.
  • Carefully roll them up, starting from one edge and tucking in the filling securely.
  • Allow the rolls to sit for a couple of minutes before serving.

Notes

For added spice, include crushed red pepper flakes. Sautéed mushrooms can also be added for an earthy taste. You can also substitute different cheese types like sharp cheddar or gouda.
