Instructions

Make the Crust

  • In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs and sugar. Stir in the melted butter until the mixture resembles wet sand. Press this mixture into the bottom and sides of a pie dish.
  • Freeze the crust for about 15 minutes to help it set.

Make the Filling

  • While the crust chills, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
  • In a separate bowl, blend the softened cream cheese and sweetened condensed milk until smooth.
  • Fold in lemon and key lime zests, vanilla extract, sour cream, lemon juice, and key lime juice, one by one.
  • Gently fold in the whipped cream, ensuring to keep it airy.

Assemble the Pie

  • Pour the filling into the chilled crust and smooth the top.
  • Chill the pie for at least 2 hours in the refrigerator. Optionally whip the remaining heavy cream and dollop it on top before serving.
  • Decorate with lemon and lime slices for garnish.

Notes

For intense citrus flavor, consider adding lemon or key lime extract. For less sweetness, reduce sweetened condensed milk or balance with sour cream. A pinch of salt in the crust can enhance flavors.
