Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt until well combined.
  • In a large bowl, cream the softened butter with sugar until light and fluffy, about 3-5 minutes.
  • Mix in the egg, vanilla extract, and almond extract until smooth.
  • Gradually incorporate the dry mixture into the wet ingredients, mixing until well combined. Add milk as needed.
  • Roll out the dough on a floured surface to about 1/4 inch thick.
  • Use cookie cutters to shape the cookies and place them on the baking sheets.

Baking

Decoration
