Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a large mixing bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Mix well until the crumbs are evenly coated.
  • Press this mixture into the bottom and sides of a 9-inch pie dish. Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the crust is lightly golden. Allow it to cool completely.

Filling

  • In another large mixing bowl, combine the peanut butter, powdered sugar, and softened cream cheese. Mix until smooth.
  • Carefully fold in the whipped cream and vanilla extract until fully combined.

Assembly

  • Pour the filling into the cooled crust, using a spatula to spread it evenly. Smooth out nicely.

Chilling

  • Cover the pie with plastic wrap, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight.

Serving

  • Before slicing, drizzle the top with chocolate sauce and sprinkle with chopped peanuts. Cut into slices and serve.

Notes

Be patient to allow the pie to chill fully for cleaner slices. Serve chilled for best taste. Consider using an Oreo crust for a twist or add a layer of chocolate ganache.
