Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease and flour mini cake pans.
  • In a large mixing bowl, prepare the white cake mix according to the package instructions by combining it with the eggs, vegetable oil, and water. Mix until smooth.
  • Divide the batter into three bowls and add purple gel food coloring to each bowl, creating light, medium, and dark shades.
  • Pour each colored batter into its own mini cake pan.

Baking

  • Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
