Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced Juicy and vibrant for topping.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Blind-bake the pre-made tart crust for about 10-12 minutes until lightly golden.
  • Let the crust cool completely.

Making the Meringue

  • In a mixing bowl, beat the egg whites until frothy.
  • Gradually add the granulated sugar and vanilla extract, whipping until stiff peaks form.
  • Spoon or pipe the meringue onto the cooled tart crust.

Baking

  • Bake the meringue on the tart for an additional 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  • Allow the tart to cool completely before topping.

Serving

  • Top with sliced strawberries, dust with powdered sugar, and garnish with mint leaves if desired.
