  • 3-4 extra halved green seedless grapes For garnish.

  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice Prevents apples from browning.

Instructions

Preparation

  • In a medium bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Gently fold in the mayonnaise and set aside.
  • In a large bowl, combine the diced Granny Smith apples, Gala apples, finely diced celery, and halved grapes. Sprinkle the lemon juice and sugar over the fruit.
  • Carefully fold the whipped cream mixture into the salad until well combined.
  • Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  • Before serving, garnish with the reserved halved grapes.

Notes

Waldorf Salad can be prepared quickly or allowed to chill for deeper flavor. Adjust sweetness to taste and use fresh ingredients for best results.
